Shambhala Day 2012

What a wonderful Year of the Water Dragon celebration we had. Outgoing Director Fred Jaben received a Kata from Acharya Dale Asrael and his many years were honored with love. Fred also read a moving and funny poem he wrote for our new collaborative director team of Dixie Good, Carolyn Pickton, and Jackie Roberts.
One of the many other highlights of the day (besides the humor –Shastri Stevens always makes us laugh– the beautiful rituals, the excellent lunch, and of course inspiring talks!) was a beautiful acapella performance by Maggie Wright of one of the Songs of Milarepa.
