In addition, Carolyn Pickton gave an update from the Acting Director Team about the Center’s accomplishments since Shambhala Day in February, as well as the upcoming focus of activities. For more information, see the Harvest of Peace update from the Acting Director Team (here).  Several Operations Team leaders also provided updates on their activities:

  • Taylor Owen discussed the activities of the Facilities and Relocation Committees.
  • Nan Clydesdale explained the Care Committee guidelines for supporting members in need of care.
  • Laura Holtman shared news from the Communications sector and offered kudos to Kate Madsen for her amazing work on our website update.

As we continue to grow and gain momentum in these and other areas of our Denver Community, we look forward to sharing news on plans, activities, successes, progress, and wonderful opportunities where you can get involved!

Harvest of Peace participants heard an inspiring Harvest of Peace address, and a very special announcement, by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.  If you did not attend, ask someone about it, or read the news on the Shambhala Times web site.
