Creating a Culture of Kindness

The Shambhala Meditation Center of Denver is committed to creating a culture of kindness, providing a supportive atmosphere for practice and study, and treating all with respect and dignity.

We recognize, too, that all communities experience conflict from time to time. Working with conflict skillfully and using mindful speech and conduct is part of the path. In some circumstances, resolving conflict requires support from others.

Guidelines for our community are provided in Shambhala Care and Conduct: Conducting Ourselves and Caring for Each Other. You may read our policy by clicking HERE.

If you have suggestions for strengthening our culture of kindness, please let us know. If you are concerned about a situation and wish to discuss options for resolution, please contact Jennifer Yarbro, Director of Societal Health and Well-Being, or Glenn Austin, Executive Director.
