December 17th

Date details +
    Room: Community Room

The solstice is a celebration of the earth and sun, of the

natural rhythms that rule us, and of our precious friends

and family during this darkest time of the year.

    Join Us!

    Sunday, December 17th

Our community is our village and our family. Our children remind us of the goodness of humanity and are bright reminders of the future our society.

We celebrate them and the warmth we bring together at the darkest time of the year.

Join us for a potluck  and cheerful festivities!

Potluck begins at 4pm & Festivities begin at dusk (5:08pm)

*those so moved may consider a spontaneous offering of music, song, poem or movement during the festivities as well e-mail Amy at [email protected] with any questions about this invitation

Sign up to bring a shareable dish for the potluck.

Come to the morning sit and community enrichment event to help set the setting for the festivities (lots of lights!)

In addition to this festive event, we are going to be making offerings to Angelica Village, a conscious living community in Denver that works to support families seeking refuge from war and violence and individuals and families currently experiencing homelessness. A few of the needed supplies currently are: non-perishable foods, brooms/vacuums, grocery gift cards, cleaning supplies, clothing store gift cards, dishes/utensils, towels, twin and full bed sheets. Click here for more information on Angelica Village and their needs. We will be collecting offered items in the community room of SMCD for the entire month of December and delivering them to Angelica Village on the 1st of January 2018.
