December 17th (2017)

    Room: Community Room

Join with community to practice in the Main Shrine Room for a 30 minute sitting practice.  Following that we will prepare the space for our Winter Solstice Celebration stringing lights and setting the children's shrine in the Main Shrine Room and the Community Room for our Children's Day Celebration in the evening.

In Shambhala we mark the changing seasons with Nyida Days. In our warrior tradition, we take time to note the changes in our natural environment, and rejoice in the opportunity that we have to enjoy this world. The shortest day of the year, Saturday, December 21st, is the official Winter Solstice.

Register below to let us know how many hands we will have helping set up!
