In current times, suffering is all pervasive. Following the lunar cycle with our meditation practice may help illuminate our inherent compassion and kindness.  On new moons, the Shambhala Meditation Center of Denver will have an umdze (chant leader) guide us through healing practices of mindfulness meditation (shamatha - peaceful abiding), compassion (tonglen - sending and taking), and White Tara (visualization practice of healing, protection and strength).

This practice opportunity necessitates a reading transmission (lung) for White Tara practice.  Please email [email protected] to request a transmission.  Don't fret if you can't make the lung, there are further opportunities to receive the lung and deepen your White Tara practice further - consider going to a weekend retreat at Shambhala Mountain Center April 12th-14th.

Way of the Moon Participants: These practice sessions are highly recommended in order for you to engage with mahayana practices while you study these profound principles. We look foward to cultivating a healing enviroment for our community and beyond, with you.
