The Generosity Policy

In loving memory of Leslie Fiack who was a committed member of the Shambhala Denver community for many, many years. Funds from her estate help support the ability for everyone to attend our programming, regardless of financial wherewithal. May the impact of her life with all its moments of bravery, kindness, and wisdom continue to be of benefit for years to come!

The Shambhala Meditation Center of Denver is a non-profit organization supported by program fees, membership dues, donations and the energy of many volunteers. Our sincere intent is to share the Shambhala teachings with all who are interested regardless of financial considerations.

In order to make our programs accessible to everyone, we have a “Pay as much as you can afford” policy. If you are able, we ask that you pay a minimum of 50% of the program fee in order to cover related program costs. If you have any questions, please contact our registrar.

If you have the means to help offset the cost of another’s fee, we graciously encourage you, as a “Patron”, to make an additional donation beyond the published registration fee at the beginning of the course. Your generosity as a “Patron” allows us to offer these teachings to everyone regardless of their ability to pay.

Please help us bring these teachings into the world by offering the most you can afford.
