In this six week online course, Pema Chodron shows us how we can move beyond negative patterns and attachments that are at the root of our suffering.

In her fresh and accessible way, Pema explores the Buddhist teachings that get to the heart of how our sense of self develops and functions.  We’ll learn about the five skandhas - the elements that form our experience of self.  And to see how we create habits of reactivity that hook us and cause us pain, Pema teaches on the twelve nidanas - the links of dependent origination that describe how the sense of self cycles from birth to death in every moment.

In this course, you’ll learn how to:
  • Disentangle yourself from negative patterns
  • Put the brakes on your unhelpful reactions to difficult situations
  • Reduce your attachment to harmful behaviors
  • Increase your ability to accommodate pain and feel joy
  • Lean into and experience every aspect of your life.
Suggested donation of $25 per class.  You are welcome to drop in a pay what you can.   The second option is to pay through PayPal after you register to get one class free!  You may still register here without paying the full price.
